Innovations
TrackSlip®

TrackSlip® is a new low-friction surface finish for variable electrical tilt (VET) antennas. It does away with the need for a sliding interface under the phase-shifting element. A PTFE-loaded solder resist allows the elements to slide smoothly together many thousands of times without wear. As it is based on a conventional PCB solder resist, TrackSlip® is compatible with all standard PTFE and foam laminates. It can be applied using conventional resist techniques in complex, localised areas.

Fine Line PCBs

Trackwise have developed a high-resolution PCB capability that allows large areas of fine PCBs to be manufactured on a range of laminates with higher reliability and at lower cost. This is to the order of – 50 micron (0.002″) features with 25 micron (0.001″) gaps. This 333dpi capability corresponds to more than 110,000 features per square inch of laminate. This technique extends our RF capability into the millimetre waveband and addresses the needs of a range of microelectronic applications from laptops to medical instruments.
Materials specification data
We hope these materials performance data tables will be valuable to designers and engineers when they’re selecting suitable substrates. For ease of use, products are listed in order of ascending dielectric constant. If you have any comments, suggestions, or would like to discuss the capabilities and potential of any of our substrates please contact us.
Substrates
We currently offer a comprehensive range of radio frequency and microwave materials from major manufacturers such as Taconic, Arlon, Neltec, Rogers and others. It is our aim to keep this directory as current and comprehensive as possible. If you have any comments, suggestions, or would like to recommend new laminates or manufacturers, please contact us.
