Trackwise join British delegation in U.S. hosted by Collins Aerospace and the U.K. Government

Trackwise is delighted to be one of 24 U.K. aerospace suppliers that will be hosted today by Collins Aerospace, at a conference near the company’s office in Charlotte, N.C. The one-day event—which was organized by Collins and the U.K.’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy; Department for International Trade; and Aerospace Technology Institute—connected the suppliers with Collins operations and supply chain executives to explore potential opportunities for future collaboration.

“With more than 5,000 employees across nearly 30 locations, Collins Aerospace has a significant footprint in the U.K. and we welcome the chance to discuss additional avenues for cooperation,” said Paolo Dal Cin, vice president of Operations & Quality for Collins. “We had a productive day of networking meetings and we look forward to continuing the conversation going forward.”

“As a global leader in aerospace, the U.K.’s offer to the world in this sector is clear and I am delighted that the Department for International Trade has supported Collins Aerospace to host 24 U.K. aerospace suppliers in such an important market,” said Baroness Rona Fairhead, U.K. Minister of State for Trade and Export Promotion. “Trade missions are perfect opportunities for businesses to make connections with others across the supply chain. The Department for International Trade will continue to promote the sector to help U.K. businesses forge new trade ties, break into new markets and attract investment into this key sector.”

“We have taken part in a number of targeted DIT missions and have found them an invaluable component in developing our export markets and, in particular, reaching out to our target audience of engineers,” said Trackwise CEO, Philip Johnston. “A number of strong connections have been made from past missions and in the same vein, today we very much welcome having the opportunity of introducing Trackwise and our Improved Harness Technology™ innovation to the Collins Aerospace team. ”
