Scientific & Industrial
Trackwise is proud to support numerous significant international scientific and industrial projects worldwide. Many of these projects are sensitive in nature, which prevents us from discussing them publicly.
Industrial – Detecting hydrocarbon leaks to help safeguard the environment

Amphenol Trackwise’s expertise in manufacturing long, single, and multilayer flexible printed circuits (FPCs) has played a crucial role in supporting Direct-C’s mission. Direct-C offers advanced pipeline monitoring technology globally, focusing on gas and oil infrastructure. Their sophisticated sensor technology enables early detection of hydrocarbon leakages, helping companies prevent financial losses while safeguarding the environment. Our ability to produce unlimited-length FPCs has empowered Direct-C to implement continuous hydrocarbon detection systems for pipelines worldwide, enhancing leak detection capabilities and response times.

The Earth’s magnetic field resembles that of a large bar magnet, but it is constantly changing and highly irregular. Indiana University’s Center for Exploration of Energy and Matter in the USA needed a perfectly magnetically shielded 6m³ room for their work.
As part of the nEDM program at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center, they aim to create extremely uniform magnetic fields to support the next generation of searches for physics beyond the standard model. They turned to Amphenol Trackwise for assistance, trusting our length-unlimited, highly accurate, and reliable IHT manufacturing capabilities to precisely replicate their CAD-based design requirements in real-world applications.
